this/PLAY is a spatial design studio based in Jakarta, founded in 2015 by Sigit D. Pratama. It began with a team of like-minded people united by a shared passion for art, community, and sustainability. On one Sunday afternoon, a spontaneous brainstorm about how artworks deserved better presentation sparked our commitment to telling stories through a thoughtful, emotionally resonant design approach.

Almost a decade later, our playground has expanded, from museums and galleries to music festivals, brand experiences, and theatrical scenography. We collaborate with curators, event planners, and art consultants who share our obsession with creating something that feels right, not just looks good.

With a mission to uplift artists and promote the arts responsibly, we source reusable materials, minimize waste, and create opportunities for marginalized communities—building spaces where design, emotion, and social impact intertwine.
