The REKAM JAKARTA exhibition is a thoughtful exploration of the events spanning 1998 to 2023, showcasing the nuanced and dynamic facets of Jakarta's evolution. Our design strategy employs raw plywood along the Emiria Gallery's facade, serving as a deliberate and sophisticated visual narrative.

This aesthetic choice artfully delineates thematic elements, including COVID, lifestyle, sports, floods, Jakarta's transportation, city dynamics, and political shifts. By incorporating such deliberate divisions, the exhibition invites a discerning audience to engage with the intricacies of Jakarta's socio-cultural tapestry and reflect on the broader contextual significance of each highlighted theme.
