Setelah Lewat Djam Malam

Design and Build

“Setelah Lewat Djam Malam” was our very first theatrical scenic design project. It was a very thrilling project because we had to design and build a cross-media stage directed by one of the Jakarta theater legends, Yudi Tajudin (Mas Yudi). 

The stage itself was inspired by the movie “Lewat Djam Malam”, and the stage accommodates almost all scenes or segments from the movie, even there’s a hidden room below the stage, the stairs were made as similar as possible to the time zone when the movie was being released, the sliding screens are especially Sigit’s desire and imagination which was established so that we can show a different showcase in theatrical stage setting.
